The issue is 3.5 breaks other urls that have the basename “news”. What I did was uninstall it and then as a workaround downgrade to the News SEO v3.4 until they release a fix for this issue. Notice that in downgrading to the News SEO v3.4, you won’t lose any settings or it won’t negatively impact on your SEO.
