 * Hi [@luclearmedia](https://wordpress.org/support/users/luclearmedia/)!
 * We reached out via your ticket, but I will add this info to this publicly viewable
   thread for anyone else that lands on this. We’ve confirmed this is a bug, and
   a fix is underway. In the meantime, there is also a potential workaround.
 * Just to recap the issue:
    - What WooCommerce Square is checking: String length of the pipe-separated (
      |) attribute values Example: “Red|Blue|Green|Yellow|…” – if this string is
      longer than 250 characters, it fails. This shouldn’t be the case.
    - What it should be checking/ what the Square API actually limits: Number of
      attribute values in the array (maximum 250 values) Example: [“Red”, “Blue”,“
      Green”, “Yellow”, …, “250th color”] – if this array has more than 250 items,
      it should fail.
 * While we wait for the fix, here’s a workaround we’re suggesting in the meantime:
    - Edit a product you are experiencing the error with.
    - Disable syncing with Square for that product – [https://d.pr/i/TnvRT6](https://d.pr/i/TnvRT6)
    - Save the product
    - Then, in the WP-Admin → Products All Product list, make a **Quick Edit** update
      to switch sync back on again – [https://d.pr/i/1nbPlM](https://d.pr/i/1nbPlM).
    - The product should sync during next automatic sync, or you can do a manual
      sync from WP-Admin → WooCommerce → Settings → Square → Update: [https://d.pr/i/lnTbX4](https://d.pr/i/lnTbX4).
 * I hope this helps!

 * Hi [@prunly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/prunly/),
 * > Kindly advise how to ensure that non-taxable products are imported from Square
   > with the correct Tax Status in WooCommerce, or if that is not possible with
   > this plugin.
 * Yes, currently, we don’t sync over the tax statuses of products from/to Square.
   That said, I would recommend posting this as a feature requests so that our developers
   can consider adding the functionality to sync tax statuses – [https://woo.com/feature-requests/square/](https://woo.com/feature-requests/square/)
 * The product data that is synced is mentioned here – [https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-square/sync-settings/#section-5](https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-square/sync-settings/#section-5).
 * Thus, once you’ve imported products from Square to WooCommerce, you will want
   to update their tax statuses and classes on WooCommerce. For reference, we have
   more details on setting up WooCommerce tax statuses/classes here – [https://woo.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/](https://woo.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/).
 * Thanks.

 * Hi [@themacmaker](https://wordpress.org/support/users/themacmaker/),
 * > I don’t have a staging site and worry what might break by switching themes,
   > even briefly
 * I hear you, and it would be great to set up a staging site for troubleshooting
   and also to test out possible fixes. Your hosting company might offer a staging
   site as part of your package. Alternatively, you can use a free plugin like [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/).
 * Looking closely at the CSS while on mobile, I can see that the form’s width is
   set to 56% – [https://d.pr/i/izOeW0](https://d.pr/i/izOeW0).
 * We typically do not provide custom code support, but I’ll make an exception here
   as it’s relatively a quick one to add **as a temporary solution** as you find
   time to **perform the test my colleague suggested above**.
 * Please open the **WP-Admin → Appearance → Customizer → Additional CSS** and add
   this code at the bottom:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       /* Increase MailPoet's form width on mobile*/
       @media (max-width: 500px) {
         #mailpoet_form_3{
           width: 100%;
       }
       }
       ```
 * I hope this helps.
 * Hi [@newequilibre](https://wordpress.org/support/users/newequilibre/),
 * I can understand how frustrating it can be for a site to show a fatal error after
   an update.
 * Just to clarify, WooCommerce by itself works well with WordPress version 6.4.1.
   In this case, it is likely that there’s a plugin or theme on your site that isn’t
   quite compatible with this new WordPress version and is causing a conflict with
   WooCommerce when it is enabled.
   In order to locate what’s actually causing the
   fatal error, I will recommend that you do a conflict test as explained here –
   [https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/](https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/)
   I recommend letting us know how the conflict test goes here on our forum – [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0).
 * Hi [@pedson88](https://wordpress.org/support/users/pedson88/),
 * > in the documentation it clearly states that syncing from WordPress to square
   > only supports one attribute.
 * I’d like to confirm that presently, syncing products with multiple attributes
   is not supported. For instance, if your variable product has `color` and `stem
   count` attributes, our recommendation is usually to combine these into a single
   attribute. That’s why you’re seeing `7, Pink` since the two have been combined
   to allow for syncing – [https://d.pr/i/4LJe0N](https://d.pr/i/4LJe0N).
 * More information about this can be found here in the FAQs section of the Square
   documentation -https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-square/faq/#section-5.
 * There’s an open feature request for this, and I would recommend upvoting it so
   that our developers can track demand – [https://woo.com/feature-request/allow-square-to-support-multiple-attributes-for-products/](https://woo.com/feature-request/allow-square-to-support-multiple-attributes-for-products/).
 * Thanks.
 * Sounds good! It’s less likely that the core WooCommerce plugin caused the issue
   though, it could be another plugin (likely caching/optimization plugin) causing
   customers to place orders twice.
 * In the meantime, I would recommend applying the recommendations here to your
   caching plugin – [https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/](https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/).
