 * Thanks 123! In the process of installing Firebug, I upgraded my firefox browser,
   and in the new browser, the extra space is gone. It’s still there in an older
   version of Safari, which I can’t upgrade until I get a new mac (the operating
   system is too old).
 * I appreciate your recommendation.

 * I also have GoDaddy hosting. I did install WordPress through Metropolis, but
   I downloaded my own theme template and uploaded it through the FTP client.
 * You should be able to access your admin panel by typing /wp-admin after your
   blog’s URL, as Otto suggested.

 * What a cool-looking blog! I would use HTML coding to do things like that. [Here’s my favorite tutorial.](http://www.echoecho.com/htmlbasics.htm)
 * For example, here’s [Colors on Text Links.](http://www.echoecho.com/htmllinks02.htm)
   And here’s a [color table](http://www.echoecho.com/htmlhexcolors07.htm).
 * I hope this helps.

 * This happened to me while I was editing one of the theme files. Turns out a semicolon
   was out of place by just one space. Don’t know if yours is a coding issue, but
   for the few times I’ve had that problem, I keep a copy of the program for the
   theme template on my desktop so I can open the pages with the original coding
   and check it against mine.
 * Ultimately, I’m trying to learn coding, but until then, it seemed like a good
   solution.
 * I hope by the time you get this that your problem is solved, because it sure
   is an agonizing one.
