I guess the issue is nearly impossible for me to test. It seems that switching to the user is causing the issue. If it’s not, than I don’t have any way to really know how 1% of (seemingly random) users are getting their role reversed or removed. I’ve tried to different role editor plugins. Same issue. I’ve tried deactivating them altogether. Same issue. As an admin, everything works fine – if I log out, I get the “oops, there’s nothing in your cart” when shopping around. Here’s what’s crazy: I’ve turned off the “add to cart” button and enabled the “buy now” instead – this also does not work for non-logged in users. I can see the buy now only if I’m logged in. If I log out, I still see the add to cart. I’ve tried enabling the “users must register to checkout”. I paid $47 for a getshopped support token only to have them tell me there was nothing they could do and that my theme was outdated. I know this, everything worked fine until I upgraded to the latest version last week.
