After adding debug statements also submissions missed? have you noticed?
Also confirm you are using Actions after submit or created a feed?
You can go ahead with referring to this, and you can sync the missing submissions

Hello @amaiaesteban
Thanks for getting in touch, and explaining the scenario. This may happen due to Google Quota Limit.
You can refer to the official documentation here:
🔗 https://developers.google.com/sheets/api/limitsTo confirm, please enable the debug log from your
wp-config.phpfile.
Note: An error will only be recorded in the debug log if an entry is missed, so you can test the form after enabling debug mode. For a full guide on how to resolve this — including switching to Manual Authentication (which increases your quota and reliability) — please refer to the article below:

Thanks
AbdullahHello @almavepa
Based on what you’ve described, this behaviour is most likely related to the Google API Quota limit When the quota is exceeded, submissions can silently fail to reach the connected Google Sheet — and once the quota resets, they start working again, which matches the pattern you’ve noticed.
To confirm this, you can enable debugging in your site by adding the following lines to your
wp-config.phpfile make sure whenever entry is missed then only error log will be recorded. You can refer to this: https://www.gsheetconnector.com/how-to-fix-missing-entries-caused-by-google-quota-limits
Hope this helps!
Thanks
AbdullahHello @ogmedia
Thanks for getting in touch,
Its 100% Reliable, all the submissions will be send to google sheet in a real-time,If Google API Quota limit is exceeded then only entry will be missed, to confirm you can enable the debug log from wp-config.php and check the debug.log, make sure whenever entry is missed then only error log will be recorded.
To solve this you can Authenticate with Google using Manual Authentication Method, and also Enable CF7 Database is available to recover the missed submissions.

Hope this helps!
Feel free to ask if you have any questions or required any further help. Thanks
AbdullahHello @creacom Emmanuel
Thanks for getting in touch,- Can you confirm you are using the latest version 5.0.19 of the plugin?
- You mean you are unable to deactivate the Auth to re authenticate with google? right.. To troubleshoot further, can you enable the debug log and then try to deactivate and then provide me the error to take a closer look like due to which conflict this issue is happening.
- Also Can you navigate to System Info from the plugin and click to copy to clipboard and paste in a file and send me.
Thanks

AbdullahHello @greggold50
when you’re on WordPress.com, you might not have direct access to files likewp-config.php. So, if you need to set something likemax_execution_time = 300, you’ll need to either:- Use a plugin that allows you to manage PHP settings (if permitted by WordPress.com), or
- Reach out to WordPress.com support and request the change—they’re usually quite responsive for Business Plan users.
So while it doesn’t change the plugin’s behaviour, there are just a few extra steps when you’re on WordPress.com.
Hope this helps!
Hello @greggold50,
The slow form submission time is likely due to delays in communicating with the Google Sheets API.
If the Google Sheets API is slow to respond, the form submission will take longer. This could be due to server load, network issues, or API rate limits. Additionally, if your hosting environment has slow processing power or high latency, API requests may take longer. Some hosting providers also limit external API calls, which can cause delays.
Another possible reason is the PHP execution time limit on your server. If the API request takes too long, it may be hitting the execution time limit, causing delays or failures. You can try increasing the execution time in yourphp.inifile:max_execution_time = 120
To improve performance, we recommend:
– Checking if your hosting provider has restrictions on external API calls.
– Optimizing your Google Sheet by reducing unnecessary data.
– Increasing the PHP execution time limit if necessary. Thanks
AbdullahHello @shockproofwp
Sorry for the trouble you’re facing! This issue may occur due to Google API Quota Limits, which can sometimes lead to unexpected disconnections. To prevent this, you can set up the manual authentication method. We’ve explained the solution in detail here:
