 * Man, that is disturbing.
 * I am looking for a plugin to add a basic functionality of any CMS that is inexplicably
   missing from basic WordPress.
 * I was considering this one, but now know to steer clear. No response from the“
   developer” to an obvious emergency caused by what appears to be irresponsible
   coding is quite the red flag.
 * I hope you get your site fixed, good luck.

 * Ah, thanks much, I will study those further then …

 * Ah, I was doing some additional research for what I need and it appears I’ve
   found exactly what I am looking for after all.

 * Questionable name aside, FCKEditor seems to be the solution.
 * Thanks again!

 * Thanks for the response.
 * I should restate what I need, as the software pointed me is not in the same category
   of what I am looking for.
 * I am looking for a WYSIYG editor, which allows an editor to make changes to a
   page or post.
 * I had tinymce installed since I wrote the first post to see if it would work
   for us, but, again, it’s not even remotely close to what I envision. It just
   seemed to add a lot of buttons and make the editing area smaller!
 * On the contrary, I am trying to make the editing area bigger, so an editor can
   see the entire page that needs to be edited. I want the editor to be able to
   move elements about (text, images, imbedded video, tables, etc.) in the editing
   area by the tried-and-true drag-and-drop method. Something like a standalone
   visual HTML editor, similar to DreamWeaver or HomeSite or anything like that.
 * And I am willing to pay for such a plugin.
 * Does that make sense? Does such an item even exist?
 * Thanks in advance for any assistance!

 * Thanks for the answer. It’s the promise of “and more!” that always frightens
   us editor-types. Less is more for us: a less cluttered, confusing interface that
   doesn’t have to do 1,000 things we will never need anyway, for example.
 * OK, I have another question. We need to include in our website a searchable database
   of experts, very much like the one you can see on this site: [http://lgi.osi.hu/experts.php](http://lgi.osi.hu/experts.php)
 * Is it possible with WordPress? Or is the choice of CMS irrelevant to this functionality?
   I can almost hear the eyes a-rollin’ as any real developer reads this silly question,
   but we cannot hire a developer until we know what CMS to go with, so I am the
   best my organization has at this moment. So please forbear my ignorance.
 * Thanks for any help!
