Sorry, only Google and other search engines can answer your question as WordPress does not have anything to do with indexing, traffic, etc.
In general, adding more and more high quality content, frequent updating the site, the number of other sites linking to your site, etc. can improve your traffic.

In reply to: Plugins erroneously reported as being out of dateWell, the steps suggested by me are some of the basic troubleshooting steps that can help us to narrow down the possibilities for the error. If you cannot do them we may have to rely on guesswork that can lead us to nowhere.
Anyway, as you feel the the problem may have something to do with CloudFlare, have you tried to find a solution from their support system? If not, please try that.

It would be better to test your site to see if the database is carrying the old baggage or not by first restoring it to a local installation or test site. I am not sure if the MySQL copy that you have is reliable or not.
