 * You can do it like I mentioned by modifying the variables in the conf.php file
to the directory of your choice but they’ll get overwritten if you upgrade the
plugin which isn’t ideal but the project I used the plugin on didn’t allow me
enough time for me to find a cleaner solution. Does what you’re after though.

 * In the Events calendar Settings>Display start by taking a look at what ‘Events
Template’ you’ve got set to display the calendar on. If you’ve got it set to ‘
Default Events Template’ then the only part of your theme that will be loaded
will be the header.php and footer.php files.
 * Take a look in both and comment out any of the scripts to see if that fixes the
problem. If the calendar links start working properly, you know you’ve got a
conflict in one of the ones you’ve commented out. From there, uncomment each
one by one and test if the calendar is still working. When it stops working properly-
   you’ve found your conflict.
 * Commenting out the scripts may mess with the rest of the theme’s functionality,
but you should just ignore that for the time being and concentrate on finding
   the conflict.
From there you can go about fixing the conflict yourself, stop
it from loading on that page or ask the people who made the theme to see if they
   can help.
 * Probably better ways to do it, but if there’s only a few scripts you can check
   for any problems pretty quickly.

 * Found a conflict with the fitvids.js (jquery video plugin), fixed that and it’s
all working properly now. Check with your theme provider if they use use it for
your theme slider, or anywhere else.
 * If they don’t use that, it may be a conflict with any other js used for your
theme, try removing each of the scripts on your page one by one and seeing if
it solves the problem. Once you’ve found the problem, you’ll have to go about
fixing it (or just stop it from loading on the pages the event calendar loads).

 * OK, so after a little playing around, I’ve found it’s got nothing to do with
the Events Calendar plugin per se, it looks like a JS conflict of some sort.
Just have to go through and find out which one now (><) Will report back when
I figure out what’s going on.

 * Just came on here to ask the same question.
 * I have the same problem. No plugin conflicts, but it seems to be something in
my theme files as it works perfectly in Twenty-Fourteen.
 * (Not sure if it’s related or not, but the “Events In” button [shows the DAYS of the month](https://www.dropbox.com/s/uif5xexnqwlssz5/Screen%20shot%202014-03-12%20at%2011.12.17%20AM.png),
not the months when my theme is active and works as it should in Twenty-Fourteen).
 * Removed all my modified tribe-event files from my theme, and no change.
