 * I have 2 questions. Would appreciate your help.
    Would the plugin let me to change
   thumbnails place and can the zoom be disabled?

 * The thumbnail position can be changed from the Views/Styles section, check Playlist
   Position option. From the same Views/Styles section, find the Zoom option.
