# Zip theme installation failure

 * I’ve just tried to uploaded and install a zip theme and have got the message:
 * **The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.**
 * Theme install failed.
 * Anyone got any ideas about what I can do?

 * Where did you get this zip theme file? Unzip that file and check if it contains
   the style.css file in its root.
