# Zip error

 * Hello,
 * I have installed the updraftplus plugin version 1.9.30. When the backup is made,
   I am getting the error ”a zip error occured, check your log”. ”The backup has
   succeeded but with warnings”.
 * Reading problems of other people, I’ve put
    define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true);
   to the wp-config file. But no result.
 * I don’t know if the backup is complete and working. What can I do?

 * Does a database-only backup succeed?
 * I am wondering if your web hosting account’s disk space is 100% full – can you
   check that?
 * I see that the PHP version installed is 5.2.6 – which should work (I had a report
   from someone else a few weeks ago that it was working for them), but is incredibly
   old (May 2008), with lots of security holes. Perhaps there is some problem involving
   that – can you ask your web hosting company to update you to a newer version?

 * I think I know the cause of this now – a bug in your PHP version. Update to this
   version – [https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/updraftplus.1.9.32.zip](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/updraftplus.1.9.32.zip)–
   or wait for the upcoming new release; and hopefully all will work again for you.

    I’ve updated to version 1.9.40, which was already available.
 * Now the error message doesn’t show anymore.
