 * Hi Rob,
 * There ought to be more log file than that… if you post it at pastebin.com, and
   then post the link here, then that would be best. Posting long logs direct into
   the forum is frowned on by the wordpress.org forum moderators.
 * Best wishes,
    David

 * Hi Rob,
 * In the log file is this:
 * > 0017.540 (0) Binary zip: error (code: 159 – a code above 127 normally means
   > that the zip process was deliberately killed … and also check that your hosting
   > account quota is not full)
 * “Deliberately killed” could mean something like the web hosting company killed
   the process, if they thought it was using too much resources. But not necessarily.
 * There then follows in the log a list of files that are likely missing from the
   backup. So, you’ll want to either copy those files separately, or run a fresh
   backup.
 * A future release of UpdraftPlus will retry in this particular situation, to avoid
   any need for manual action or reading log files! This warning does not occur
   often, so hopefully if you retry you will not see it again.

 * Hi David,
 * The plug-in worked fine for several months. Every time I made a backup and stored
   in the Dropbox.
 * Strange thing is that this error comes up every time a try to make a backup now.
   It started last Saturday and since then I tried it a dozen times, with every
   time the same error.
 * My free hosting space is 9.400MB, and also the Dropbox has free space enough…

 * Hi David,
 * I looked in the log and found that the plugin had some trouble with a couple
   of MP4 files. I excluded them from the backup and now it doesn’t give the error
   anymore.
 * There’s just one thing I don’t understand.. The log also shows:
 * “0000.055 (0) Testing: /usr/bin/zip
    0000.092 (0) Output: zip warning: binziptest/
   test.zip not found or empty”
 * Does this have any influence on the reliability of the backup, or is this information
   I can ignore?

 * Hi Rob,
 * Probably your web hosting company added something on their servers to kill-off
   long running processes.
 * Add this to your wp-config.php, and it’ll cause UD to use a different zip engine
   which doesn’t use an external zip process:
 * define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true);
 * > 0000.055 (0) Testing: /usr/bin/zip
   >  0000.092 (0) Output: zip warning: binziptest/
   > test.zip not found or empty
 * That’s normal.
 * Best wishes,
    David

 * Hi David,
 * I changed wp-config as you advised, included the .MP4 files again, and everything
   is working fine!
 * Thank you very much for the quick support!

 * Hi Rob,
 * We should both read the log file more carefully! It has this in it:
 * > 0017.544 (0) Closing the zip file returned an error (File Size Limit Exceeded).
   > List of files we were trying to add follows (check their permissions).
 * Looks like your web hosting company has introduced a maximum filesize for created
   files. You should ask them what it is, and then configured it in the ‘split’
   size setting in the expert settings at the bottom of the UpdraftPlus ‘Settings’
   tab.
 * Who are they, by the way? I’ve only heard of one hosting company before who’s
   done this (Strato).
 * Best wishes,
    David

 * Hi Rob,
 * You’re welcome. Looks like our posts just crossed! You’re more likely to get
   the problem again if you don’t tweak the setting I mentioned.
 * Best wishes,
    David

 * … though, on the other hand, the web hosting company’s limitation might only
   apply to files created by external processes, so possibly the change I mentioned
   happens to avoid it anyway.

 * Hi David,
 * It’s Strato indeed! I changed the max file size to 500MB per archive. Good to
   know that the use a maximum file size, I didn’t knew… Let’s see what happens
   in the next few weeks. 🙂
 * Thanks again.
