# “ZIP Code is not formatted correctly”

 * Site was previously working, and then all of a sudden when typing in a zip code,
   clients are now being told “ZIP Code is not formatted correctly” even with correct
   US zip code input.
 * Why is this happening?

 * Based on the Checkout page, I can see that you are using a different [payment gateway](https://woocommerce.com/document/premium-payment-gateway-extensions/)
   here, but just to be sure, please share your **System Status Report** that you
   can find via `WooCommerce > Status`. Select `Get system report` and then `Copy
   for support`. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.
 * To isolate this problem, can you please enable [Cash on Delivery](https://woocommerce.com/document/cash-on-delivery/),
   create an order and see if you are still facing the same error message above?

   would you please [start your own topic](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0)?
 * Additionally, please include your **System Status Report** that you can find 
   via `WooCommerce > Status`. Select `Get system report` and then `Copy for support`.
   Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.
 * If you could also provide the **fatal error logs** (if any) under `WooCommerce
   > Status > Logs`.
