zero content pages

  • In my menu I have an item we’ll call 1. Under this I have three pages; 1a, 1b, 1c. I want viewers to be able to access 1a, 1b, 1c but not 1. 1 is just there in order to categorize the subpages. I’m told that the solution is a custom menu but I don’t know how to create a custom menu.

I added “javascript: void(0)” to the address on the Edit Page under the “alternate URL” section. This doesn’t allow the page to be opened but it doesn’t go anywhere.

As a novice this is both confusing and aggravating. Can you help?
