Support » Fixing WordPress » Zelle Lite Template Background stuck on default image

  • Dear WordPress Community,

I have an issue with the website I am building and could use some expert tips/recommendations.
The theme of my website is currently Hestia. The issue I am having is with the landing page which I have used a template for (although I cant quite remember how, I tried recreating to no avail.) The template I am using for my landing page is Zelle Lite – the layout of this page is therefore completely different than my other pages. The reason I wanted this is because it included among other elements a cool Parallax effect.

The problem is that despite changing the featured imaged of my landing page it appears stuck on the default image. I can see the correct image showing behind the default Zelle Lite template when I scroll down. I want to continue to use the Zelle template because the layout is perfect (e.g the sections it includes).

Ive tried going to the page (visitng it) and then editing the page, changing the set ‘featured image’.

If i go through the dashboard, click on appearance, appearance settings, and background image and setting it this way the image appears to the be correct one, however both cases result in me visiting my site and seeing the default image remain.

Any help recieved would be highly appreciated!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi mkavanessen.

The code itself will not help much and that page is password protected.

One way or another, make sure that you’ve emptied the browser’s cache so that you’re not seeing old, cached page. Or try from a different browser, maybe that new image is there already.
