Fortunately I used my local backup to roll back to the previous plugin version and the videos are now working again.

Until I can investigate fully, I’m wondering if it’s something to do with the way I style my layout using CSS. What I do is wrap the YT link in a div and style the padding etc using class.

    For example:

    <div class="YTvid">httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxx</div>

That’s all I can think might have caused the problem. It works fine on the older version but breaks on updating.

There must be something wrong, you’re the 2nd one to notice a problem, but I cannot reproduce myself so I would need to see the thing broken tbm2 (esp. the HTML source where the lyte vid is inserted + the output on the browser error console, esp. JS errors).

On my end, it’s simply not outputting the lyte-wrapper div at all. I’ll post screenshots and HTML as soon as I get to a real computer.

No JS errors. The only customizations are that I use the lytesprite_claes.png that is included and I use the lyte_on_mobile() function for thumbnails on all devices.

I’ll try and get the broken version up and (not) running again so you can see but might not be able to do it today (small children are demanding my attention!)

    Thanks

Thanks Frank, I’m sure that’s probably fixed it. I’m still seeing 1.6.5 in my dashboard at the moment but will try again later.
