• We’re using Jarvis 1.2 to add a full screen youtube video link to the home section of the site. The video is an animation that builds to the complete image, which we would like displayed on the homepage. The hope is we can “freeze” the video to hold on that final image until the page refreshes or the video will play and then change to a still image. Sorry I cannot link to the site at this time.

We tried faking it by adding an extra 3 minutes to the video of just the end frame. It was okay that the video would eventually loop while the site was still open until we decided to add music and narration. Now the audio loops as you scroll through the rest of the site. We could add even more time to the video but we also need to keep the file size down.

Any suggestions? Is it even possible to stop and “freeze” the video or to maybe use sliders to automatically change to a still image once the animation finishes? Or are us non-coders just dreaming big?
