# YouTube tracking JS error

 * I’m getting this error when a page with a YouTube video embed loads, and any 
   time I interact with the embed:
 * `TypeError: event.target.getVideoData is not a function at gtm4wp_onYouTubePlayerReady(
   gtm4wp-youtube.js?ver=1.7.1:58)`
 * Vimeo works fine. I’m using version 1.7.1 of the plugin. Any ideas? I appreciate
   the feature is marked as ‘experimental’ but I’m sure it was working last time
   I checked.

 * I can see a similar behavior and also similar reports all over the internet that
   is not related to WordPress or my plugin:

 * It seems to me that YouTube removed this function without any prior notification
   which makes this tracking very unusable. I will look at this, maybe there is 
   an alternative way to get video info.

 * As far as I can see, this issue has been resolved in the YouTube embedded player.
