Youtube pushing sidebar down in blog view

The video looks fine in single post view, but when it’s seen at the top of the blog the right sidebar gets pushed to the bottom. From what I’ve read the usual cause of this is a missing </div> tag. No matter how I post the video either with the embed or just with a link I get the same results. I’ve posted youtube in pages without this problem.

Any ideas? As always thanks in advance for your help
