Support » Plugin: Responsive Lightbox by dFactory » Youtube from thumbnail and loss of slider

  • Hi, I really like the options in this plugin and I’d really like to use it since the rest of my theme is responsive, but I’ve got 2 problems. The first is that I want to play youtube videos by clicking on the picture you get from their embed code, but I can only get the videos to play in the lightbox from a text link.

Secondly, after I installed the plugin, my slider (Smart Slider 2) disappeared. This was set in the header but now the page just shows white space. Thanks.

    Link to your site please.

Sorry, it’s on localhost, so I can’t. Is there a particular area in the code I should look at?

When it comes to your first issue – it doesn’t make any difference if your anchir is inmage ir text. If the syntax is ok it should work properly.

Enable debug mode and check what is the source of the issue. 99% it’s Smart Slider or other plugin on your site.

Thanks for the reply. Enabled debug and got a warning installing RL – The plugin generated 389 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

However, the slider didn’t disappear this time. I’ve installed/uninstalled quite a few image-related plugins in the last few days but systematically trying them all with RL I was unable to reproduce the error. At the moment I’m at a loss as to which plugin or combination of plugins caused the error.

I did originaly network activate and deactivate, then later activated just for this site. But then I deactivated again and network activated which is the current state. I don’t know if that might have had an effect.

Anyway it’s working right now which is the main thing.
