 * Hi [@chefpanda123](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chefpanda123/) – this
   plugin is only intended for tracking eCommerce events for Google Analytics. You
   can search for plugins that will focus on that specifically here: [https://wordpress.org/search/google+analytics+youtube](https://wordpress.org/search/google+analytics+youtube)
 * I’m marking this topic as resolved as it’s not related to this plugin.
 * Normally, enabling standard tracking should log some more information on your
   site:

 * Hi [@jobthomas](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jobthomas/),
 * What I meant was, I want to measure how many people click on the “play” video
   on my website.
 * May I track with an event?
 * Bets regards,
    Ricardo

 * Hi [@chefpanda123](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chefpanda123/), that’s
   something you can’t track with this plugin. For that you’d just need to work
   with general GA tracking. This plugin only focuses on eCommerce events.
 * This would be a good place to start (but there are definitely other options available
   too): [https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/google+analytics/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/google+analytics/)

 * Hi [@jobthomas](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jobthomas/)
 * Thanks for the tip. For installing Google Optimize, it´s a best practice to install
   it on the same way Google Analytics is installed.
 * As I´m using this plugin, what do you recommend me to do? Instal the Google Optimize
   snippet by Google Tag Manager or hard-coded?
 * Best regards,
    Ricardo

 * Hey [@chefpanda123](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chefpanda123/) – that
   depends on what you prefer. If you’re comfortable with hard-coding, you can use
   that option, but many people prefer to use a snippet or even a plugin.

 * Hi [@jobthomas](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jobthomas/),
 * As i´m using WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin for GA, that means
   that my **GA tracking code is hard-coded**, right?
 * If so, the best practice says it´s better to install the Google Optimize snippet
   in the same GA is installed, and so I should hard-code Google Optimize snippet
   🙂
 * Look forward to hear back from you.
 * Best regards,
    Ricardo

 * From our docs:
 * > Enable Standard Tracking: Check this box to add basic website tracking. This
   > is needed if WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration is the only Google Analytics
   > plugin on your site. If you are using another Google Analytics plugin for your
   > site, leave this box unchecked.
 * [https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/google-analytics-integration/](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/google-analytics-integration/)
 * I’ve had a look at the code of our plugin and there’s no video tracking event
   hardcoded there. So this means you’ll have to find another solution.
