Same experience here. This is very concerning.
I still have not been able to reach him. I purchased a lifetime license and now there is no documentation and there is no support. I am busy rebuilding my site with another plugin because I have no idea how long this one will work.

It is not as flexible as Posterno but it looks like it has a sustainable business model.
I did reach Alessandro, Posterno, through his new employer. He has moved on and there will not be any updates unless he finds a buyer for his plugin. I am not happy and that is why I selected a plugin that has been around awhile and has lots of users.
Have you found one that you are going to use?
