All of a sudden we got an email of:

    Error Details
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 241 of the file /freshysites/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/controllers/controller-admin.php. Error message: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to TablePress_Admin_Controller::add_tinymce_plugin() must be of the type array, null given, called in /wordpress/core/5.2.2/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286 and defined in /freshysites/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/controllers/controller-admin.php:241

But nothing has really changed on our site in a while, so not sure what would cause that. But it’s causing a 500 Internal Server Error when editing posts or pages…

The error goes away if/when we deactivate TablePress.

  • It seems Page Generator Pro 2.2.4 may have been causing a conflict. Now that it’s disabled, there is no more error.

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, that could be possible. My guess is that that plugin is using the WordPress filter hook mce_external_plugins in the wrong way, in particular it’s probably not returning a return value in the filter hook handler.
I can only suggest that you contact their support team about this.
