    Got a surprise message “Your site has reached the sharing limit of 30 social media posts per month.” What the hell it is? Never had anything like that before. Why you moved useful feature to behind paywall and expensive paywall?

    Do I really need to remove that option now and go back to free plugins? You are losing your old customers/users here that way. Sooner there is no reason to use Jetpack at all, everything is behind paywall and you need to be a super rich to pay for all these features. Insane.

    Hi @edragonxx –

    Jetpack Social has recently introduced a limit of 30 shares on the free plan. You can share 30 times over the previous 30 days. If you share more than that, you will need to upgrade.

    If you’re a casual user, you can continue to make up to 30 social shares per 30 days for free, but if you share more than 30 times, you can upgrade to the new Basic plan.

    Jetpack’s social auto-sharing feature, formerly known as Publicize, has been free since it was first released 10 years ago. During that time, it rarely received any significant updates, and the features that have been added were only available with a paid plan.

    With over 1 million posts shared per day, we’re excited to start giving our sharing feature the time it deserves. We now have a dedicated team working full-time to take auto-sharing to the next level, along with several other planned features, collectively known as Jetpack Social.
