Please install the latest version and check if it is enabled

Isn’t 5.0.5 the latest version that came out today? I just installed the new one and this is what happened.

Yes, it is. Is the plug-in enabled? In all my test installations it works without a problem.

It is activated and enabled. It automatically just went unavailable (not available in the blocks list) after I updated today.

Is there any setting that I am missing?

Could you please try to manually install version 5.0 or 4.9 and see if it is working? I know this is really bad but I have no idea why this happens here. So the block is missing from the list after you installed and activated it? Um you can’t add a SimpleTOC block, correct? What version of WordPress do you have installed?

Oh, is that because I am still on WordPress 5.5.3? Does this work with version 5.9 only?

And yes, I can’t add a simpleTOC block because it’s not in the list anymore.

The one’s I have added before just went blank in the post.

Okay, thank you. I will add 5.9 as a requirement. I used the very recent block.json api v2. That might be a problem. I am sorry for that. Because this will break outdated installations. Please update and see if this fixes it. Would be great! I will update as soon as possible to prevent ppl installing this in < 5.9

Did it work? The recent version of SimpleTOC requires WordPress 5.9. So this should prevent the problem you experience. I am really sorry. It is my fault.

We reverted to version 4.9 of the plugin for it to work.
Not yet ready to update to WP 5.9 because of possible incompatibilities with other plugins.
    But, thanks for the assistance.

    I think this is solved.
