[Resolved] Your plugin breaks other cron schedules!

  • Hello. I’m the Knews Plugin creator. One user refered problems with my plugin. After testing it, I found the bug: your plugin breaks previous plugin custom cron periods.

    This is your code:

    function more_reccurences() {
    return array(
    'weekly' => array('interval' => 604800, 'display' => 'Once Weekly'),
    'twiceperhour' => array('interval' => 1800, 'display' => 'Twice per hour '),
    'tenminutes' => array('interval' => 600, 'display' => 'Every 10 minutes')
    );
    }

    This is the right way to do it:

    function knews_more_reccurences($schedules) {
    $schedules['knewstime'] = array('interval' => 600, 'display' => 'Knews 10 minutes wpcron submit');
    return $schedules;
    }

    Adding your custom schedule to the WP schedules…

    Best regards,
    Carles Reverter.

    Thanks for the pointer. I’m the new maintainer for Postie and am still working my way through the code. I’ll add this to the next release.
