I have installed the Pinterest pixel and the chrome add in is showing events registered. However I’m not able to create a conversions tracked ad in Pinterest because it says “Your Pinterest tag is not firing Conversion events.”
When I click check tags I get a page where it looks like events are being recorded but I honestly have no idea what it all means.
I’ve looked at the documentation for Pinterest and for the plugin and I seem to have done it all properly but I’ve no idea where to go from here to make it work.
    Can anyone help?

I actually want Pinterest to pick up when a particular form is submitted, but again, no idea how to make that work.

The same issue, this is the error that I get exactly

@s3vo, actually this is not the same problem. You seems to have an issue with the Checkout event.

Unfortunately I can’t test the Checkout event without your help. Please do a test transaction and send me the exact URL you get after the payment is complete. All the other events work as expected on your website. I was able to check it, because you also contacted us through our support.

    Sorry for the late reply.

It looks like you don’t have an WooCommerce website. We fire the conversion events are automatically fired for WooCommerce (pageview, addtocart, checkout). If you need other events you must configure them manually from our Events tab.

We do fire an event on form submit, but it’s a custom event named Form. I now realise we should offer the option to change this event to Lead, if needed.

@s3vo UPDATE: after testing the user’s website, we can’t confirm the problem. Their Checkout event works as expected. The error is probably related to some older versions of the Pinterest tag, implemented before our add-on.

What do you expect me to do? how can I get rid of this old set up?
