    That’s the error i get after uploading to Godaddy.

    I’m an extreme noob but I have done everything as folks say. I think it must be something that isn’t right with my GoDaddy settings.

    any takers? Thanks

    jaredjanacek,

    It sounds like you have a Windows IIS 6 hosting account. Your best option is to switch to a Linux operating system if you are not in need of a Windows account. Here is the article with instructions on how to switch operating systems: http://help.godaddy.com/article/1285

    where can you find the php.ini file?

    If you’re referring to Go Daddy, see the following article for more details on the php.in file: http://help.godaddy.com/article/1085

    Create a file in your webroot called ‘phpinfo.php’ with nothing but this line in it-

    <?php phpinfo(); ?>

    Then open this file in your browser. This will show you PHP and all its glory. Search for MySQL extension. You will probably not find it. Contact your host for a plan that will have the MySQL extension installed. Have fun!
