How on earth was my access limited by the owner if I am the owner and the admin?

    And then it says:

If you think you have been blocked in error, contact the owner of this site for assistance.

So – i contacted myself and tried to unlock me. But of course i can’t do that.
    Fix this, please!

  • Hey @oga23,

the quickest way back into the site is renaming the Wordfence plugin directory to something like wordfence.bak. Then once you’re back in you can rename it back to re-enable it.

Does the message show the reason you’re being blocked? Can you share a screenshot of the entire page with the error on it?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @oga23,

If you can show the expanded Details of the block in Live Traffic we can determine why this is happening and address it. However, my hunch is that you’re going to need to adjust your Rate Limit settings.

    Hey @oga23,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
