You'll loose your current .htaccess

  • GZip Ninja Speed Compression created an empty backup file called GZipNinjaSpeed_install_backup.htaccess and removed everything in my current .htaccess.

    I’m simply gonna copy over the new rules.. and uninstall this plug in.

  • Any file on a server with a dot extension are commands. files with words in front are not. .htaccess is being read and the other file is the back up with a name in front of the dot extension so it specifically won’t be read as configuration for filters by the server.
