    This plugin appears to have some nice features. I’m not sure why it is necessary to create your Zotabox account for the free features. All of the free features can be duplicated for free using other plugins.

    Some of the features shown in the screenshots are actually part of their premium service. It also states that you have to subscribe to their premium plan to hide their logo. Advertising their plugin on my customer’s websites isn’t going to happen.

    If the free features worked without creating an account I would be impressed. They could charge a flat fee for the basic premium plan and do the membership subscription for the advanced with reports.

    For now, I’m going to pass on this.

    Thank you for your thoughtful and honest post. Yes, you are right, some (not all) of our free features can be duplicated with other free plugins but we try to offer extra, unique and high quality customizations not available elsewhere.

    Also, some free tools such as stickers and testimonials have their own style and flexibility and all our tools are available on one easy to use dashboard which we hope you will find convenient.

    Even our premium tools are completely Free for 10 consecutive days every month for you to try them out.

    In the next few months we hope to offer more popular tools such as an exit popup, custom banner uploads, navigational tools and promo boxes.

    Our zotabox account is necessary since we are a 3rd party plugin (similar to Mailchimp for example).
