I get the following error message, when I’m logged in on my BuddyPress site, and this happens to all logged-in users:

"You must log in to view and manage your events."

Attached is a link to a screenshot (because I don’t seem to have the option of uploading it directly here) showing the notifications for the logged-in user account in question, and the menu showing the logged-in user account option to “Logout”.

Many thanks in advance for any bright ideas as to why EM thinks LOGGED-IN BuddyPress users on my site are NOT logged in?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Belay this. I’ve found the EM->Settings->User_Capabilities screen had some rather strange entries which disabled the event creation functionality. I can only presume this happened in connection via maintenance updates and the like, and exactly how is hidden in the mists of time. Now the permissions are set correctly, everything works as expect.

I might suggest an additional admin message, when seeing this error as an ADMINISTRATOR, to “please check your User Capabilities Settings” or similar.

Thanks again for a very useful plugin! (y)
