Try to log in from another device like a mobile. What do you get? BTW, the message you’ve got is generated by WordPress, not the plugin.

doesn’t work from mobile or any other device, this message appears only when the plugin been activated.

It looks like a conflict with another plugin. What plugins do you use? You can get the list on the Tools / Diagnostic page.

Oh, boy! It’s way too many plugins to not get into trouble. There is no solution unless you deactivate a dozen of them.

Just a heads up, I am having this same issue but with far fewer plugins. Should be better suited to diagnose a fix.

Just having a play this end to see where the conflict actually is…

Nope. Not other plugins. All disabled, problem persists.

I’ve disabled Cerber, updated htaccess to run a redirect from the custom URL back to wp-admin and installed a different security plugin.

    Bit of a shame really!

I run into this issue with WP Cerber any time I attempt auto-fill the login with a password manager. This happens on a dozen sites with very few or many plugins installed. Also with whitelisted IP subnet.

I assume it’s due to WP Cerber thinking I’m a bot because of the inhuman nature of password manager actions. Typing login manually works for me, as does copy paste user/pass individually (slowly). =P

I do face this issue sometimes. But it is easy to fix.

Instead of visiting /wp-admin/, try to visit /wp-admin/widgets.php

If the problem still persists, click the “lock” icon on the chrome browser > cookies > check whether anything blocked under the “blocked” tab.
