• I upgraded a friend’s site to WP 3.5. WP-DBManager throws the following error message:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘TYPE=MyISAM’ at line 9 on line: 1471

This is way beyond my pay grade.

  • Using a plugin that’s almost 2 years out of date could be partly to blame.

    Thanks.

Turns out that I get the same message when I installed another backup plug in.

I’ve done this kind of whack-a-mole before.
