you guys should be able to respond faster to threads

I know that you are volunteers, but i have been trying to get a very important and annoying issue resolved for a week now and i had one person respond, but after i told them that what they suggested didn’t work i never got a response back. i have posted a new thread for the topic rewording the topic title 3 times to see if i can get a response,i didn’t spam, these posts have been made 2 or 3 days apart, and still nothing. i don’t understand why i have to keep waiting. i haven’t been rude or anything on my threads but now i’m getting impatient. it’s been a week and i still can’t find how to fix the problem. your codex didn’t help me, the suggestions made by a mod didn’t help me, and i actually tried those suggestions before i even posted asking for help. i know you guys are busy, but this is a little ridiculous that i’ve been waiting 6 days to get any help. even if the only solution is to reinstall wp and upload a backup i would gladly listen to this advise. it would just be nice if i got some sort of reply to at least feel like you guys want to help, even if no one knows of any other solution besides a reinstall, please say so. that way i’m not wasting my time waiting for someone to help.

This can be directed at you too – you need to help more people out because some people have urgent issues that need resolving.

That happens sometimes and while it is unfortunate I am sure you understand that no one can be compelled or forced to work on your topic or problem. Just like yourself, all the other volunteers look for topics that interest them.

If you are getting impatient or these volunteer forums do not work for you then there are other paid venues that may work out if that’s what you choose.

Isn’t volunteering always unpaid? Lol I’m just getting impatient because it’s been so long that I’ve waited. I don’t have money to hire someone,but isn’t that why this forum exists? For those of us that are broke but need help? And I have been trying to help out on the forums as well, but I’m still new to wp, so I can only help so much. Also, I helped on a thread earlier but my comment got deleted for some reason even though my comment was exactly what they needed. I wasn’t rude or anything so I don’t understand why it got deleted. It was a long reply, but I didn’t see anything about that in the forum rules. But it kinda discouraged me from wanting to help people. Like what’s the point if my comments are going to get deleted anyway?

Be more appreciative, and if you already are, be much more.

Posting threads like this won’t get you any better support.

Looking at your past threads, it’s pretty obvious to me that you need some level of paid help. Perhaps consider that to get yourself started.
