You do not have sufficient permissions?!

    I recently upgraded from WP1.5 to 2.0
    The wp-admin main page loads fine, but other pages like Profile and other stuff either do not appear or I am told
    “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    I checked my DB and my user_level is 10.
    Help?

    User levels aren’t used anymore by WordPress, it’s just there for old plugins. 😉

    And try deleting your cookies.

    Try logging out, clearing the contents of wp-content/cache folder, clearing your browser cache and cookies.

    Just a quick note to mention that I had this same problem (but out of the blue, no upgrading), and the steps MichaelH suggested fixed it for me.
