    Hello @joost-abrahams ,

We are always working in improving our interface, however, we are not sure to understand your issue.

As you can see in the following video, you can copy and past between string translation without any issue. We also have a feature called Translation Memory which reuses existing translations for repeated sentences, saving you money by avoiding charges for translating the same content again.

We would appreciate a more detailed feedback about the issue that you are experiencing. In case you have consulted our support forum, it would be great if you can share any of forum tickets opened.

    Regards

Your video shows the string translotor, not the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency translation functions. And there copy&paste is not possible

Thank you for getting back to us @joost-abrahams. However, I’m unable to reproduce the issue or, maybe, you are referring to something different.

I prepared another video for translating WooCommerce categories and attributes using copy and paste. I also prepared another video for translating WooCommerce products using copy and paste. and it works in both cases. Am I missing a step?

If the issue is associated to your website, it would be great if you can start a chat in our WPML support. In that way we could investigate it and help you to move forward with your project.

I made my review less negative, because you making a effort, but i do not see you “copy and paste” in the last two video

Thank you very much for your gesture @joost-abrahams, I really appreciate it. However, my goal is to identify if we have an usability issue or a bug and, in that way, being able to fix it. 🙂

In the videos I’m using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V for copying and pasting respectively. That makes me think, are you using the right-click in order to perform that procedure? I just noticed that when you use our ATE interface (this previous video), the right-click works for the left side of the translation column, but not on the right column. Could it be that the issue that you are experiencing?

Yes i am using right click to copy & paste.

I found a way to make it work by making these settings:

Thank you very much @joost-abrahams, it is a pleasure. We found these reports really important as they help us to improve and deliver a better product. 🙂

Thanks to your information and screenshot, we reduce the issue to the “Enable Advanced Translation Editor’s spell checker” option from our Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). Effectively, when it is activated, the right-click is disabled. Probably as part of the Grammarly or another built Chrome extension used for the spell checker.

I had a discussion with our ATE devs team and we will investigate this situation and look if it can be prevented.

We will get back to you as soon as we have any news.
    Thanks again for your help!

    Hello @joost-abrahams,

Just to inform you that this issue should have been solved and the right-click should be available in our Advanced Translation Editor again. 🙂

    Thanks again!
