 * I’ve just tried to run WP-DBManager and received the following error :-
 * passthru() enabled.
    system() disabled. exec() disabled.
 * I’m sorry, your server administrator has disabled passthru(), system() and/or
   exec(), thus you cannot use this plugin. Please find an alternative plugin.
 * I ignored the warning and it appears to have completed a backup but there’s obviously
   a problem and I don’t know if it’s worked properly. Please could someone advise
   me how to correct the error ?

 * You can just ignore the error because this plugin requires all of these functions
   to be enabled to function 100%. For your case, passthru() is needed to run the
   backup, so you are ok.
 * In order to know whether there is a problem, download the backup and open it
   using a text editor and check to see if any of your content is inside.

 * thanks for your quick response. i’ll try to check the last backup but not sure
   how i would know if all the content is there …
 * if the plugin needs all of these functions to work correctly, how can i enable
   system() and exec() and would there be any potential danger to my site in doing
   so ?

 * Check the file size? If you see some content is there, all the content is there.
   It is either there is all content or there is no content. There is no in between
 * I can’t advice on that because it really depends on how technical you or how
   your host deals with hosting.

 * I think it was actually because I was still running an old version of PHP. I
   just updated to 7.1 and the warning has gone away.
