You can automatically sort positions on a value?

    I want to use plugins to create a table of positions, as sports.

    example;
    Location – Participant – Score
    1 – Richard – 20
    2 – July – 15
    3 – Cesar – 10

    I want to enter the score and automatically change its position.
    It’s possible?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    You could simply sort the table on the “Edit” screen after changing the score for the people. Just use the sorting arrow icons in the table header row (next to the column letters).

    The problem is that the number of place moves with the row.

    If I move with the arrows Cesar would read:

    2 – Cesar – 25
    1 – Richard – 20
    3 – July – 15

    My intention is that changing the score automatically change its position.

    1 – Cesar – 25
    2 – Richard – 20
    3 – July – 15

    I have more than 500 participants. It is the main reason for the modification.

    Hi,

    ah, I see what you mean. I’d then suggest to have that rank column be created automatically, e.g. with the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-counter-column/.
