    You can add this function:

    Similar to the operation multiple choice

    1. Dropdown starts with main categories (Father) and shows no subcategories (child)

    2. Dropdonw displayed the subcategories (child) which only depend on the main category (parent) is selected.

    Example.

    Main Categories: Cars / Motorcycle /

    Sub categories: Brands

    If I select Auto show only cars brands

    If I select Motorcycle show only motorcycles brands

    Hello,
    Actually I’ve noticed a bug with existing posts with categories. (Thanks for feedback).
    If a post has already a brand selected, it does not shows the parent category ‘Cars’, so you can only chose form children categories ‘Brands’ :/ .

    For now the only solution is:
    – disable Dropdown list
    – uncheck all categories from concerned posts
    – reactivate Dropdown list
    – chose ‘Cars’ then ‘Brands’

    Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll fix it as soon as possible.

    Hi,
    I’ve just updated the plugin, the feature was revisited and I think it’s more like you wanted it.
    I hope I’ve eliminated all bugs, I’ve tested it but maybe I don’t do something you will do, please feedback.
