YOP Poll incompatibility in latest update
-
The latest update (to Elementor) seems to have made it incompatible with the YOP Poll plugin.
YOP Poll was last updated 4 months ago, and just last week they were still working together, so it’s definitely the newest Elementor update to blame. The problem manifests itself by showing a completely blank white page, with “• Edit” on it, and nothing else.
Here is the page source (code):
<!DOCTYPE html> <html lang="en-US" xmlns:fb="https://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml" xmlns:addthis="https://www.addthis.com/help/api-spec" > <head> <meta charset="utf-8" /> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" /> <title>Elementor | Accountability Partner Signup Form</title> <div class="elementor-element-overlay"> <ul class="elementor-editor-element-settings elementor-editor-widget-settings"> <li class="elementor-editor-element-setting elementor-editor-element-edit" title="Edit"> <i class="eicon-edit" aria-hidden="true"></i> <span class="elementor-screen-only">Edit</span> </li> </ul> </div> <div class="elementor-widget-container">
Looks like it stopped mid-load.
The site in question had 30 plugins (29 active), took me a while to find the culprit.
Deactivating YOP Poll fixes it.
The Elementor page i tried editing had a YOP Poll widget on it.
And Yes, elementor pages that do not have the YOP Poll widget on them still work, even with the YOP Poll plugin active, it’s only the ones with the poll widget on them that don’t work. Now i gotta look for a new polling plugin or wait for Elementor to get fixed.
As a side note, the first fixes i tried were increasing the PHP memory limit and changing the way Elementor loads, but those didn’t help.
Let me know if you need any more info from me.
