Yoast Title value Null | WordPress.org

I’m able to get the yoast_meta and yoast_json data I need on the endpoints such as /wp-json/wp/v2/pages/{page_id}
However the Yoast_title is always null even thought these exist.
Any ideas?

Thank you for using our plugin!

I have been testing this issue and at first I could not reproduce it, but afte further investigation I found out the yoast_title is indeed empty if your theme doesn’t add support for the title-tag, see: https://codex.wordpress.org/Title_Tag

Could it be this is the case for you?

Hi @rockfire Adding add_theme_support( ‘title-tag’ ) function in my theme fix the problem. Perhaps this info could be placed in the FAQ to help some others. Thank you. 🙂
