# Yoast SEO Function disappeared

 * Hi there,
 * My Yoast SEO functions is not active anymore when editing a post.
    The box is
   still there with it’s tabs (SEO, Readibility, Social, Advanced), but they are
   not active and if I click on them to see a title or meta description for a particular
   page, nothing happens. I can neither see this information nor edit anything.
 * Can you please advise what’s happening? I have checked this on a few browsers
   hoping this may help, but it didn’t.
 * I am on the latest Yoast SEO version and am using wordpress 4.9.13.
 * There is no conflicts with other plugins either as I deactivated each individually
   to see if it makes a difference.

   Please update WordPress core to 5.2 or higher.

 * Thrive released updates to a number of their products with a note that indicates
   they fixed a conflict with Yoast.
 * Please update to the current version of all Thrive products and let us know if
   the issue remains.

   reply. I don’t have any thrive plugins installed on my wordpress version. Do 
   you recommend installing one now and this would solve the yoast seo issue?

 * Thrive is a theme so if you’re not using it, then you have a different issue.
   You’re using an old 4.9.x WordPress version that we do not support. Please update
   to a supported version, WordPress 5.2 or higher.
