    Hello,
I tried to update my yoast seo plugin and it failed.
Since then, the plugin disappeared from my plugin list.
Now I am trying to reinstall it but the installation fails and I get a message saying “installation failed: destination folder already exist”.
    What can I do ?
    Thanks.

Via FTP or the file manager app in your hosting control panel, delete the directory wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo. You’ll then be able to reinstall Yoast.

    Hello Steven,
Your fix worked. I was able to reinstall Yoast after deleting the directory.
    Thanks very much.
