yoast seo sitemap wrong for images

Your theme developer asked here if the issue occurred with another module and if so, they suggested opening a feature or integration request.

    yoast-seo reads zero words

If you have content and see this error, you are likely adding content outside of the default editor. Some plugins and themes, like page builders or visual composers, do not share their content with our analysis feature.

yoast seo meta-description not shown in Google

The description shown in the source code of the page is

Virtual Reality video game to learn foreign languages (VR glasses included). Original gift for kids of 5, 6, 7, 8…, until 12 years old.

We confirmed that Google cached the description here.

Ultimately Google will, as you have seen, make the final decision on what they show in their search results. You may see a different meta description when the search term does not appear in your meta description. Google converts the meta description to include the user’s search term for optimal click through ratios. Google’s own Matt Cutts put together a great video that dissects how snippets work and how they pull from various parts of the page when they deem it necessary.

Due to this being handled on Google’s end, there is little you can do to force Google to display the preferred description. The best advice I can provide, unfortunately, is to try different descriptions. This article provides advice on creating the right description for your site.

By default, our plugin does not analyze content that is outside of the main content box of a page or post. Some visual composer developers have modified their code to add compatibility with our plugins while others have not. We do know that Yoast SEO is expected to work and parse the content correctly if you are using the Classic/Gutenberg WordPress editor.

However, if you are using a page builder plugin or a custom content theme box to insert your content, it’s possible that Yoast SEO may not be able to parse the content accurately and provide the accurate content analysis. You can learn more about it here — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/
