Support » Plugin: WP Retina 2x » Yoast SEO compatibility

  • Hi,

WP Retina is not working in my site. I’ve been checking your debug instructions and I can confirm that this is because of Yoast SEO Title rewrite option. Desabling this option your plugin works fine.

Is there any way to make your plugin work fine with this option enabled? I need it in my site, and I’m using the Title rewrite option in most of my sites…

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I can’t do anything about it unfortunately, when the Yoast plugin is doing its rewriting, it completely blocks my plugin from doing anything, and no way I can go around this. You could maybe ask Yoast if they would have a solution for this, actually it works with all the other plugins out there except Yoast. So I wonder?

I wrote this in the FAQ because I can’t do anything about it unfortunately, though I really try… You can try to use my other methods which don’t require to rewrite the HTML (retina.js, Responsive Images).

    Hello,

Thanks for fast response and clear explanation. I’ll try to contact Yoast then.

I tried retina.js but I can’t manage to get it work. Is there anything special I should do? I even tried to add the attribute data-rjs="2" mentioned here http://imulus.github.io/retinajs/ without success.

    Best,
