*I don’t have GitHub account, I can post bug here only.

    Great.

No support here for your users only if you purchased a pro version.

But now everyone ask here to test your plugin?

Paid support but free testing by the users you do not want to speak to.

No support here for your users only if you purchased a pro version.

You’ll find that quite a number of plugin authors take this approach when their user base is large (i.e >1,000,000 active installs).

But now everyone ask here to test your plugin?

Inviting plugin users to beta test is not uncommon. In fact, Yoast SEO was rolled over the coals with v.3.0 for precisely not doing enough beta testing, and the resulting conflicts that emerged when the plugin was rolled out. Also, don’t forget that this is an invitation only. You are under no obligation to beta test.

I’m quite fine with them offering paid support and releasing a test to all. I don’t like working for free and I’m guessing they don’t either. If you don’t have a paid account being a beta tester is a nice thanks/repayment for the free software and helps them to keep the software updated. Quite a bargain if you ask me. Software developers are expensive.

Thanks to everyone’s testing and the reports on GitHub, we’ve been able to fix a few more bugs. This lead to Release Candidate 3 today.

You can download Yoast SEO 3.1-RC3 at http://yoa.st/yoastseo31rc3.

when you predict to release an official 3.1 version for all?

If no major issues come up, I expect the release somewhere next week.

I have the Yoast SEO Premium membership but cannot get any support. I sent a message with an attached screen print.

My question is why is there no content snippet or description to edit in some of my pages. They sent me as a reply a link to their Yoast SEO Premium page which explains how to edit, which I already know how to, when there is something showing to edit, but my point is, there is nothing to edit and no way of adding anything, and the add more key words does not work for these pages either.
I tried to install and active the above Release Candidate 3 to see if that helps but received the following message.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpseo_auto_load() (previously declared in /var/sites/p/playtennisinthesun.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo-premium/wp-seo-main.php:40) in /var/sites/p/playtennisinthesun.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php on line 56

Can someone please help as Google cannot render the pages if there is no title or description!

    Hi Yvonne,

Sorry for that experience. I’ve just written a new answer to your email, it should help you solve the problem.

To install the release candidate, you’ll first need to deactivate Yoast SEO or Yoast SEO Premium. They cannot run at the same time.

Hi, i have just tried the 3.1 RC3 but my problem is always in.
I can’t edit some of my pages. I can’t see the contents of these pages, and the SEO icon on the left became black.
I have to deactivate your plugin in order to edit my web pages 🙁
    Any solution please???
