# Yoast schema markup

   I’ve run into an issue with the Yoast schema markup.1. On the site’s homepage,
   the “Organization” and “Person” schemas are combined, even though the site settings
   specify only “Person.” How can I fix this?2. And a second, more important issue:
   Google’s Rich Results tool isn’t displaying the full schema – it only detects
   the breadcrumbs, even though other schema is present. How do I fix this?I’ve 
   been working on this for two days now and can’t figure out why Google isn’t seeing
   the markup. Please help—thanks.I’ve attached the validation results below.

 * I checked the actual Yoast Schema output, and the `Organization`/`Person` combination
   is expected here. The output contains a single entity: `"@type": ["Person", "
   Organization"]`. This does not mean Yoast is generating a separate Organization
   for the website owner. Yoast’s Schema Framework uses one connected entity for
   the site’s representation. When the site is configured to represent a person,
   Yoast adds `Person` to the entity’s `@type` and combines the relevant person 
   properties into it. This is also reflected in the rest of the graph: both the`
   WebSite` publisher and the homepage’s `about` property point to this same entity,
   whose name and profile information are those of Denis.
 * Therefore, if WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Site representation is set to
   Person and the correct user is selected, there is nothing that needs to be changed
   or removed from this Schema output. The presence of `Organization` in the `@type`
   array is part of [Yoast’s current Schema Framework implementation](https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/).

 * this is expected in many cases. The Rich Results Test does not display all Schema.
   org markup that exists on a page. It focuses on structured-data types that Google
   supports for rich-result features. Yoast outputs a broader connected Schema graph,
   so Schema.org’s validator can show more types than Google’s Rich Results Test.
 * In other words, the fact that Google’s test only reports Breadcrumbs does not
   mean that the other Yoast schema is missing or that Google cannot read it. The
   Schema.org validator is the more appropriate tool for checking the complete Schema.
