With all the hassle with Yoast past week, I decided not to update Yoast & Yoast Premium and still use 13.5 version both. However all the latest AMPforWP updates looks Yoast related and therefore I still did not update AMPforWP and still use version 1.0.42.

Should I update to the latest version AMPforWP 1.0.47, even though I did not update Yoast? Would I have conflict problems? Please advice.

    Thank you very much.

Actually there were some problems with the latest update of Yoast premium. But we have fixed those issues and pushed a new update(1.0.47 ). So you can update both plugins.

If you are facing any issues after updating both plugins, you can contact here. We will help you to fix the issue at any time.

    Hello Ahmed,

Thabks for your reply, however it fails to answer my question.

I do not want to update Yoast & Premium now. I still want to use 13.5 version. With using the Yoast 13.5 version, if I update to AMPforWP 1.0.47 – would I have any problems?

    Hello,

You will face problems, I can say that because I have been having several problems since I updated Yoast Premium and AMPforWP.

The last release has a duplicate canonical URL issue on AMP pages.

If you want to be forgotten by google, update both plugins.
