    Hi,

When I’m trying to run Yoast Pro Optimization, I get a critical error from the Realia plugin, when it attempts to call CMB2.

It calls it from the “echo” statement:

    echo cmb2_get_metabox_form( $metaboxes[ REALIA_PROPERTY_PREFIX . ‘front’ ], $post_id, array(…

What do you suggest to me please? Can I just disable this echo statment?

Or should I perhaps install the “Yoast CMB2 Field Analysis WP Plugin”? or maybe this plugin is not relevant to this issue?

Many thanks to all the experts!

What’s the actual error? Undefined function? Something else?

If this is a plugin that’s utilizing CMB2, it may be better to go to the Realia plugin support and see what they think, since they know what they’re doing with the CMB2 library more than I do. They’d also be able to say if it’s a good idea or not to remove that line at all.

Not familiar with Yoast CMB2 Field Analysis WP Plugin at all, so that’s another new one to me, and not something that our core CMB2 developers maintain.

Many thanks Michael Beckwith for taking the time to answer me.

    The actual error message is:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function cmb2_get_metabox_form().

I can’t speak with anyone regarding the Realia plugin since it is for five years now no longer supported.

The “Yoast CMB2 Field Analysis WP Plugin” is a plugin mentioned on the entry of CMB2 plugin on this WordPress website.

    Many thanks,

Sounds like the Realia and/or CMB2 isn’t loaded quite yet then at the time of execution, or isn’t set to be loaded at all based on the method of execution. I don’t know anything about it so I can’t troubleshoot it. That said, since it’s apparently 5 years abandoned, you could probably do what you want/need around editing it to help get this Yoast Optimize plugin working.

We have no issue with listing extra resources around CMB2, but that doesn’t mean we maintain them all. So this Yoast CMB2 plugin may be worth a spin.
